Audience Education

Entertainment is just the beginning! MAPA offers a variety of programs designed to enhance our community’s “artistic literacy.” For example, in conjunction with any production based on a piece of literature, MAPA teaching artists visit local book clubs to explore the story from a theatrical perspective. We also offer “AfterWords,” a talk back series for casts and audiences to discuss the relevance of the shows and themes to our community.
